Frances v.H is focused on helping to preserve traditional craftsmanship and provide sustainable incomes for women in rural communities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrances v.H pride prides themselves on an entirely local and sustainable supply chain and do as little as possible to the natural fibre, allowing the raw materials and hand-work of the artisans create a unique piece every-time. No one–piece will ever be the same because of this approach.\u003cbr\u003eWe encourage our clients to be as involved as possible in the process, giving them insight into the intricacies of every step involved.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach mohair rug is determined by the eye and feel of the weaver and the conditions of the veld. This affects the animals and ultimately, the character of the mohair. We work with a small selection of colours, and each colour batch will vary slightly. The yarn is hand-spun and not consistently even.
